Description | As of January 8, 2024, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. The work of this project consists of obtaining all materials and completing all related work to construct an emergency bypass vault, pump station isolation upgrades, and valve repairs as well as incidental items for the work complete in place as described in the Contract Documents including, but not limited to, temporary sewage diversion. Construction Services for West Market Street Pump Station Upgrades and Valve Repair Project - York County The work of this project consists of obtaining all materials and completing all related work to construct an emergency bypass vault, pump station isolation upgrades, and valve repairs as well as incidental items for the work complete in place as described in the Contract Documents. The project includes, but is not limited to, temporary sewage diversion, earth work, manhole installation, sewer and pump station pipe installation, wet well cleaning, and site restoration. Plans have been included on the Penn BID website defining the work. All work will be completed on property owned by the Township or within existing Township rights-of-way. West Manchester Township, in accordance with Title VI of the U.S. Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Parts 21 and 23 of 49 C.F.R., notifies all respondents that it will affirmatively ensure that MBE/WBE will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and that no person will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. Work must be performed to ensure that non-discrimination/sexual harassment provision of the contract documents and the CFA are met. The work shall also conform to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The time for completion of the work of this contract is 90 days from the issuance of the notice to proceed. The Owner hereby reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals submitted. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in the proposals received. |
