Description | Notice is hereby given, the Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority (SRTA) located in York, PA, is soliciting bids for the proposed Ritner Highway Campus Building Temporary Office located at 1601 Ritner Highway, Carlisle, PA. SRTA encourages the use of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in all contracts. Any certified DBE'S proposed by the bidder must be fully utilized with adequate documentation provided by the selected bidder to satisfy federal and PennDOT requirements. Pennsylvania State Prevailing Wage Rates are required for this project. Bid packages will be received for the following contracts: Contract SRTA-2022-ENG001 - General Construction Sealed bids shall be submitted on unaltered bid forms in sealed envelopes clearly marked "SRTA Ritner Highway Campus Temporary Office". The Bidder's attention is directed to the fact that all applicable Federal and State laws, municipal ordinances and codes, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the Project shall apply to the Contract throughout, and they are deemed to be included in the Contract the same as though herein written in full. SRTA will not be liable for any costs incurred in the preparation of the bids or attendance at the pre-bid conference. All bids and contracts are subject to a financial assistance contract between SRTA and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and or the Federal Transit Administration. All bids shall be accompanied by cash, a certified check, cashier's check, bank good faith check, made payable to the Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority (CPTA), or other irrevocable letter of credit drawn upon a bank authorized to do business in the Commonwealth or by a bid bond with corporate surety equal to 10% of the base bid plus any applicable add alternate bid total. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable Non-Discrimination and Non- Collusion laws and regulations to certify that they are not on the Comptrollers General's list of ineligible contractors or are federally disbarred. SRTA solicits and encourages Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. SRTA provides equal opportunity in employment, service and contractual agreements. This project will require Pennsylvania State prevailing wage rates. The bidder agrees that bids will be valid for at least a ninety (90) day period from the date the bids are opened. SRTA reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all irregularities, mistakes, omissions or informalities relative thereto.
