Description

Replace existing boiler Location : 3354 Delaware Ave, Tonawanda, NY 14217 GENERAL NOTES 1. General: It is the intent and purpose of these Specifications and accompanying Drawings to describe the general construction Work associated and included under Job No. 3063 - Memorial Hall Boiler. 2. The CONTRACTOR shall return to its original condition, satisfactory to the OWNER and ENGINEER, any damaged property or facilities caused by the CONTRACTOR's operations at the CONTRACTOR's expense. 3. The CONTRACTOR shall submit a final work plan within 14 days of award of the contract defining at a minimum the procedures to be employed, the equipment and materials to be used, the safety plan to be used during the work, and a schedule defining duration of the work with milestone subtasks. 4. The CONTRACTOR shall supply all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to complete the work outlined in this section unless specified otherwise. The Work under the project includes, but is not limited to, the following: a. Disconnect all boiler utilities and other connections. b. Remove existing boiler and associated components. Dispose offsite. c. Demo and remove existing concrete pad for the boiler and condensate receiver. d. Pour a new concrete pad for the boiler and condensate receiver. e. Install a new boiler and connect all utilities and other connections. f. Start-up and test new boiler per manufacturers recommendations. 5. As a part of the Work, the CONTRACTOR shall provide the following: a. Furnish and install all material and provide storage and insurance of material. b. Deliver material and equipment to job site. c. Provide storage trailers as necessary. d. Maintaining of all Project Record Documents including MWBE/SDVOB reports, if required. e. Other requirements as defined in the Contract Documents. f. Provide third party inspections as required by the permitting authority and NYS Building Code. g. Removal of all waste generated by the Work per Owner's and Contractor's environmental requirements. h. Provide all rigging necessary to remove existing construction and set new facilities in place. i. Removal of all waste generated by Work per EPA requirements, NYSDEC and local authority regulations. A. Coordinate fully with separate subcontractors so that work under those subcontracts may be carried out smoothly, without interfering with or delaying work under these Contracts.
