Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Oologah, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project. The scope of work is as follows, to wit: General: 1. Project specifications for Emergency Service Dock Oologah Lake are on file at the Fire District Station, located at 6601 E 400 Rd., Oologah, Ok 74053. 2. Project is to construct an emergency services boat dock to house fire and patrol boats. 4. Bids are to be submitted as an itemized project cost. 5. Bidders must be insured, including Workers Compensation and General Liability. 6. Bidders shall be responsible for removal of all construction debris. 7. Bidders shall include in their bid all cost of relocating all materials and other items required to complete the project at the location site on Oologah Lake. (See attached image for location) A bidder must contact the District Fire Chief or Chairman to inspect and review the worksite required for project. All work must be compliant with the Americans with Disability Act and a selected contractor must be bonded and insured. All bids must be presented in sealed packages or envelopes, the word "BID" written on the face of the package or envelope, the name of the bid item, the time and date of the bid opening and the name of the company/person submitting the bid. Any bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturday and Sunday, before 3:00 P.M. on May 24, 2022, will not be considered. A bid which exceeds One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) must comply with 61 Okl. St. 107. All bids shall remain on file until May 24, 2022, at which time the Board of Directors will consider the award of any contract to the lowest and best bidder. A contract shall be made and entered into and between the successful bidder/bidders and the District before any work commences. The contract and performance under its terms shall be in compliance with 61 Okl. St. 101 et seq. and any amendment thereto. The Northwest Rogers County Fire Protection District, by and through its Board of Directors, shall reserve the right to reject any and all bids, and waive informalities, if said body deems it necessary in the best interest of the District.
