Description

Summary: Park Infrastructure Electrical Repairs and Removal This project aims to address electrical infrastructure issues in six parks. It involves the removal of old and potentially hazardous elements such as light post bases, a baseball scoreboard, light posts, and electrical boxes. The parks requiring attention include Brennan Park, Broome Park, McKinley Park, and Ophelia Bonner Park. Additionally, electrical repairs are needed at Kearsley Park and final electrical work for a Mini-Pitch at Dewey Park. An experienced electrician will be hired to perform these tasks safely, ensure proper disposal of removed infrastructure, and address any potential underground connections. The project emphasizes compliance with safety regulations, environmental considerations, and timely completion. Task and Responsibilities: o Thoroughly inspect Brennan Park, Broome Park, McKinley Park, and Ophelia Bonner Park to identify any underground connections or potential hazards before proceeding with infrastructure removal. o Safely removing the four red light post bases at Brennan Park. o Remove the outdated baseball scoreboard and light posts surrounding the old skating rink at Broome Park. o Complete the final electrical work for the Mini-Pitch at Dewey Park, ensuring its proper functionality. o Ensure there will be a connection for the Mini-Pitch that will be installed at McKinley Park o Troubleshooting and fixing electrical outlets around the pavilion at Kearsley Park. o Repairing overhead lights in the pavilion at Kearsley Park to provide adequate lighting. o Removing a light post in the parking lot at McKinley Park and installing solar LED lights as a replacement. o Safely removing baseball stadium lights and old electrical boxes in the field at Ophelia Bonner Park.
