Lycoming County Bridge Bundling Program Bundle 4 - Bridge Construction Contract

As of May 3 2023, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. The work shall consist of replacing two bridges: 1) T-857 (Upper Bodines Road), Lewis Township, 2) T-384 (Gap Road), Washington Township and rehabilitating one bridge 1) T-541 (Old Cement Road), Fairfield Township. Bridges will consist of concrete abutments on spread footings, precast composite adjacent box beams, concrete decks, and concrete barriers. Limited road reconstruction, guiderail, signage, and site improvements will be needed at each site. Questions regarding this request for bid shall be submitted via the 'Clarifications" feature CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 4/4/2023 5:00 PM Lycoming County may hold all Bids and they shall remain irrevocable for 60 days from the Bid Opening date. Lycoming County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities, or negotiate contract amounts. Contractor shall install E&S measures, divert stream flows, protect existing utilities, control traffic, demolish and remove existing bridge components, and properly dispose of the remainder. Excavate for bridge foundations, construct abutments, and stabilize the abutments and wingwalls with riprap as applicable. Set bridge beams and cast concrete decks and barriers. Restore roads at each bridge site as indicated, including grading, subgrade placement and compaction, paving where required, and install stormwater features.
