Cranberry Mountain Nature Center Roofing Monongahela National Forest

SCOPE OF CONTRACT Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to perform the work, as described in the attachments. The project shall consist of the replacement of the roof at the Cranberry Mountain Nature Center (CMNC) including replacement of drip edge, gutters, downspouts, flashing, underlayment, etc, in accordance with the attached specifications. C.2 PROJECT LOCATON Located at the junction of Route 150 and Route 39/55, 16 miles from Marlinton and 22 miles from Richwood. C.3 MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT The Government Estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. Alternative Forms of Security (NOV 1996) If furnished as security, money orders, drafts, cashier's checks, or certified checks shall be drawn payable to USDA Forest Service. Pre-Quote Conference (a) The Government is planning a pre-quote conference, during which potential offerors may obtain a better understanding of the work required. (b) Offerors are encouraged to submit all questions in writing at least five (5) days prior to the conference. Questions will be considered at any time prior to or during the conference; however, offerors will be asked to confirm verbal questions in writing. Subsequent to the conference, an amendment to the solicitation containing an abstract of the questions and answers, and a list of attendees, will be disseminated. (c) In order to facilitate conference preparations, it is requested that the person named on the Standard Form 18 of this solicitation be contacted and advised of the number of persons who will attend. (d) The Government assumes no responsibility for any expense incurred by an offeror prior to contract award. (e) Offerors are cautioned that, notwithstanding any remarks or clarifications given at the conference, all terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged unless they are changed by amendment to the solicitation. If the answers to conference questions, or any solicitation amendment, create ambiguities, it is the responsibility of the offeror to seek clarification prior to submitting an offer. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Removal and disposal of existing roof, and replacement of roof (architectural shingles), underlayment, drip edge, gutter, flashing, ridge cap, etc. at the Cranberry Mountain Nature Center (CMNC) The above listed items and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
