Description

The Albany County Water Purification District operates a wastewater treatment facility designated the North Plant. The North Plant is located off Canal Road South in Menands, New York 12204. The work consists of cleaning ash lagoons, which contain a non-putrescible, inert, wet bio-solids remediated ash. Ash to be removed from the North Plant lagoons is to be deposited on property owned by the City of Albany, located on Rapp Road in Albany, New York (City of Albany Landfill).
