Description

This project consists of restoration of approximately 5,000 LF of the stream Rabbit Branch of Pohick Creek watershed in the Braddock District, including the main stem and 13 tributaries. The work includes the following: grading, excavation, fill, stream realignment, in-stream rock and log structures, reinforced stream bed, wetland and riparian corridor enhancement, non-native invasive management, and restoration of disturbed areas with native species/landscaping. Natural Channel Design (NCD) standards have been incorporated into the restoration design. Construction stakeout is the Contractor’s responsibility.
