Description | Provided by the Design-Build method of project delivery. The Design-Build Firm will have singular responsibility for both design and construction for quality, cost and schedule adherence. The scope of services shall include: 1. Provide final design necessary for construction with design drawing(s) stamped by a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Connecticut. 2. Soil borings and geotechnical investigations as necessary. 3. Provide preliminary design drawings showing the proposed site plan and layout of new equipment, structural, electrical, mechanical, demolition and site restoration drawings, cut sheets of proposed equipment to be provided, and a description of the construction sequence to maintain operation of the pump station during construction, for review and approval by the SWPCA. 4. Preparation of applications and submittals for City approvals, including site plans, description of construction and environmental impacts, and attendance at meetings to secure approvals and permits for construction of the project from the City of Stamford Planning Board, Environmental Protection Board, Engineering Department, and Building Department. The project lies within the Coastal Area Management boundary and the firm shall comply with Coastal Area Management permitting requirements and regulations | ||
