Paving of Various Access Roads, Lanes and Parking Areas

The proposed work will consist of properly preparing subsurface and the resurfacing of the access roads, lanes and parking areas. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond, in an amount equal to five percent of the amount bid. Bid security shall be made payable to the Town of Windham and shall be properly executed by the bidder. At the time of contract signage, separate 100 percent performance and 100 percent payment bonds will be provided to the town of Windham. The Town of Windham reserves the right to waive informalities or to reject any and all of the bids and to award the project in the towns opinion its best interests will be served. Contract Times The time for completion shall be 60 days from receipt of the notice to proceed. Liquidated Damages Liquidated damages shall be two hundred ($200) dollars per calendar day.
