Description

This Project includes the new construction of two separate single story Type II-B buildings, approximately 51,068 SF. The main building includes a classroom and lab/shop space for automotive, Engineering, computer and manual machining, and welding instruction. A separate storage building includes storage for welding cylinder manifolds as well as storage of automotive fluids. Associated site work includes instructional automotive storage lot, path of travel, sidewalks, and planted areas. There are no expressed or implied obligations for the District to reimburse responding firms for any expense incurred in preparing an SOQ in response to this RFQ. The District reserves the right to reject any or all of the submitted SOQs and/or cancel the procurement at any time. The Bond Program must operate within the parameters of Proposition 39 and the District's Administrative Regulation B-30 (Los Angeles Community College District Proposition A/AA and Measure J Cost Principles) http://laccd.edu/About/Documents/AdministrativeRegulations/B30.pdf, which also includes Measure CC Bond Funded projects. Close attention must be paid to the Internship Program Costs and Outreach Costs section of the table. Any costs not within the parameters of Proposition 39 and the District's Administrative Regulation B-30 will be disallowed.
