https://www.transportation.ohio.gov/about-us/news/statewide/2023-construction-kickoff PID 115157 WEBSTER STREET RAMP CONNECTOR Construction on the left bank of the Mad River includes installing a 12’ wide asphalt path, widened sidewalk along Webster Street, benches, trash cans and striping at the Mad River Recreational Trail. Estimated Begin: June 2023 Estimated End: May 2024 Project Cost: $288 thousand Traffic Impacts: Lane restrictions __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Engineering and Design for Webster Street Resurfacing. The City of Vandalia desires to obtain professional design services to prepare construction plans, and cost estimates for The Webster Street Resurfacing project. This project has been submitted to MVRPC and will receive Surface Transportation Program funding for a part of the construction costs. 100% of the Engineering and Design cost will be paid by the City of Vandalia. The project will be an LPA Federal ODOT-Let project and all plans will be reviewed by ODOT and the City of Vandalia. A copy of the LPA Scope of Services is attached. Consultant must be ODOT prequalified in all aspects of the project. Project Description: The Project will have limits on Webster Street from Stop Eight Road to Little York Road. The project length is approximately 7,800 lineal feet and the pavement width is 37 feet. Completed Construction Plans shall meet all ODOT requirements for a resurfacing project and shall include but are not limited to the following. o Mill 1.5" and Resurface all existing asphalt pavement on Webster Street from Stop Eight Road to Little York Road. o Identify and calculate any area that will require full depth pavement repairs. o Locate and identify all traffic signal loop detectors to be replaced after milling. o Replace all pavement markings The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
