| Description | Highlands County plans to produce approximately 25-30,000 tons of hot-mix asphalt products during the 2019-2023 Fiscal Year with an asphalt plant on landfill property at 12700 Arbuckle Creek Road; Sebring, FL 33870. The estimated quantity of each aggregate type noted below is approximate where actual purchases will vary based on final mix designs and available funding. Contractors will supply materials pursuant to issued purchase orders. Delivered price will be by truck to 12700 Arbuckle Creek Road, Sebring, FL. 33870 or by train car to a siding in Avon Park, Florida which has a capacity of 10 rock cars. Material delivered by truck would start within 7-days of order with the contractor. |
