Description

Sealed Bids LaRue Fiscal Court is now accepting bids/proposals for renovations to the LaRue County Detention Center including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC and fire system. LaRue Fiscal Court reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.Bids will be awarded at the January 10, 2023 meeting of the Court. 1. Remove outside lights and outside wall packs on rear of building and replace with new led fixtures. 1. Remove and install new outside plugs and disconnects for outside units in back of building. 2. Remove light on outside pole and replace with new led fixture in rear of building. 3. Remove and install new led fixtures in inmate courtyard. 4. Supply power to (5) roof-top units and (4) split systems. 5. Get with facility owners to shut-down sections at a time to remove interior light fixtures and replaced with new led fixtures. Verify type of light fixtures required by code for jail cells and type of screws. 6. Remove and replace exit lights and exit/emergency combo. Replace with new led exit and exit/emergency lights. 7. Schedule a time to enter cells to remove lights and replace with new led fixtures. 8. On exposed damaged pipe and boxes throughout jail damaged by weather and water (that can be seen), new pipe and boxes will be replaced. Pull new wire. Schedule with facility the time to shut off circuits to try and mark all panel schedules throughout the building. Currently, no panels are marked. 9. Please note: 10. When removing old light fixtures within the building or inmate courtyard, any unforeseen damaged pipe or wire will be an additional cost. A change order will be issued. 11. If there are actuated dampers within the cells that are 120v, power will need to be ran to the damper.
