New Restroom Building for Adams County Fair

General contractor bids will be received for the following projects: 1. Base Bid A - A new 30'-0" x 60'-0" restroom building with ICF exterior walls, CMU interior walls, exterior siding, interior FRP panels, a wood truss roof with shingles. a. This project must be substantially completed by May 31, 2023. 2. Base Bid B - A new 30'-0" x 60'-0" restroom building with CMU walls, CMU interior walls, a wood truss roof with shingles. a. This project must be substantially completed by May 31, 2023. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount FOR EACH BID OFFERED. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is not subject to liquidated damages. Prevailing wage rates do not apply to this project. This project is exempt from sales tax. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner may be required of the successful Bidder. Provide performance bond cost on the bid form. If the owner determines that a performance bond is required, the contract amount will include the cost. Online Procurement and Contracting Documents: Obtain access after September 16, 2022, by contacting the Architect. Online access will be provided to all registered bidders and suppliers. 1. Non-Refundable Cost: $50.00. 2. Contractors and Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring that all drawing sheets and full Project Manuals have been downloaded by checking the Index of Drawings on the Title page of the drawings, the List of Drawing Sheets in the Project Manual, and the Table of Contents in the Project Manual.
