Description

To provide all materials and labor necessary to perform the work of the project as defined by the Contract Documents and Drawings based on a lump sum unit cost price and consists of but is not limited to the following: Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, material, supplies, environmental protection, signage, traffic control, secondary sweeping, and other incidentals necessary to provide polymer modified hot melt ASTM D 6690 Type II material Crack Sealing applied complete in-place and a double application of polymer modified bituminous Seal Coat per Penn Dot Pub 408 Section 470 followed by a Type II Slurry Seal per Penn Dot Pub 408 Section 482. 2. Following are a list of the roads to receive a Double Bituminous Chip Seal Coat and a Type II Slurry Seal: a. Apple Street – 4th Street to 7th Street: Sweep and provide a double application of chip seal coat and then apply Type II slurry seal of existing roadway surface….6,160 Square Yards. b. 6th Street - Jefferson Street to Butternut Street: Sweep and provide a double application of chip seal coat and then apply Type II slurry seal of existing roadway surface….5,060 Square Yards. c. Mimosa Court - Apple Street to 7th Street: Sweep and provide a double application of chip seal coat and then apply Type II slurry seal of existing roadway surface…. 4,880 Square Yard. d. Borough Hall parking lot: Sweep, blow clean all cracks, and apply hot melt Crack Seal….1,000 pounds
