Description | The project is to provide materials and labor required to restore historic steel windows on the north side and one section of the front/east side of Eureka's Memorial Hall. The project will include mobilization, removal of operational sashes, removal of glazing and paint. The windows will be repaired, glazed, primed and painted, before operable sashes are reinstalled. The Bid will be awarded on the basis of cost and performance to the Bidder who, in the Owner's judgment, is the lowest, most qualified, responsible and responsive Bidder. Bids may be held by the City of Eureka for a period not to exceed thirty days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. The successful Bidder must deliver to the Owner certificates of insurance, performance and materials payment bonds as security for faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the contract. The successful firm will be required to comply with all applicable laws and statutory regulations.
