Description

Corning fiber optic cable and components is standard for fiber installations. Mines is installing multi-mode 50 micron, single mode and hybrid fiber. There is also 62.5 micron fiber still in use on campus. Outside plant fiber optic cable placed within the Mines campus tunnel system is Corning interlocking armored cable. Offeror(s) awarded this RFP will be expected to perform services in the following areas: 1. Inside and outside plant copper backbone cabling. 2. Category 6a structured cabling systems. 3. Inside and outside plant fiber backbone cabling. 4. Other low voltage systems cabling.
