On-Call Wastewater Facility Repair & Improvement Services

This is a Request for Proposal for On-Call Wastewater Facility Repair & Improvement Services. Questions Deadline: 7/19/2023 05:00 PM (CT) Work to be performed under this term and supply contract consists of four (4) types of construction work that may be required at any of JCW's 33 wastewater pumping stations and six (6) wastewater treatment plants. In general, the work consists of structural and architectural, mechanical, electrical, and site/civil repairs and improvements. The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, supplies, materials, and appurtenances necessary to perform routine and emergency work authorized under this contract. Examples of work that may be required include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Structural and Architectural - repair, replacement, or expansion of structures including: concrete, steel/metal, carpentry, masonry, roofing, doors/windows, protective coatings, demolition, etc. 2. Mechanical - repair, replacement, or expansion of plumbing, process piping, HVAC systems, and wastewater facility equipment including bar screens, conveyors, washer-compactors, sludge/scum collectors, pumps, gates/valves, flow meters, heat exchangers, blowers, compressors, boilers, generators, mixers, chemical feed systems, belt presses, centrifuges, odor control systems, aerators, etc. 3. Electrical - repair, replacement, or expansion of high voltage and low voltage systems including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, starters, motors, AFDs/VFDs, soft-starts, controls (PLC and SCADA work by others), motor control cabinets, lighting and power panels, conduit/wiring/duct-banks, building/yard lighting, bridge cranes, etc. Site/Civil - earthwork, trenching, pavement, flatwork, modification or replacement of landscaping, fencing, yard piping, etc.
