Description | As of 12/02/2022 The project has been canceled and confirmed Pricing came in above estimates and the City is not likely to award a contract for this project. Site Directions: See project manual maps. All sanitary mains are within the City of River Falls, WI. Canceled due to high bids. City decided to evaluate if that interceptor, at its current size, is adequate for the future anticipated flows. May rebid project at a later time after evaluation. Online Bidding: Available Est. Completion Date: June 29, 2023 Furnish and install a CIPP system in 2,273' of 15" and 102' of 14" existing sanitary sewer pipe. Grouting of the sanitary sewer mains in a quantity sufficient enough to allow for CIPP lining of these mains. Project includes mobilization, pre and post installation video and necessary cutouts. Sanitary sewer main lining program extends the life of sanitary sewers by 50 years or more. This technology, called cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) renewal, installs a new resin pipe inside the old clay tile sewer main without digging up city streets, which results in minimal disruption to residents during construction. The liner pipe is inserted into the main through existing manholes and cured in place with a heat or steam process. Any given segment is usually completed in one working day. Service line connections are reopened using a robotic cutter and remote cameras. During the process, existing flows are bypassed using pumps. Grouting will be done only as needed to accommodate the lining process. The work includes the approximate following quantities: Base Bid: Grout 65 Sanitary Sewer Joints (15" Pipe) Line 102 feet of 14" Cured in Place Pipe Line 2273 feet of 15" Cured in Place Pipe |
