FY20 Snow and Ice Removal Services

The contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to clear snow and ice from identified roads and parking lots at the Durham VA Medical Center (DVAMC) located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705. Priority 1: Includes driveways and pathways for the following areas. Main entrance at Fulton Street – including the Emergency room entrance and exit pathways. Priority one area is 27,629 square feet, see Attachment 1 for exact location and areas. Priority 2: Includes driveways and pathways for the following areas. Entry way off Erwin road to main garages (Buildings 26 & 33). Areas within Building 26, Parking Garage A, is leased to Federal Parking and they are responsible for clearing this area. Services shall be provided for the top-level Building 33 including snow removal and application of sand only. Priority 2 area total square footage is 22,100 square feet. See Attachment 1 for exact location and areas. Priority 3: Includes driveways and pathways for the following areas. Continuation of Priority #2 at the Garage entrance to the Bulk Oxygen Storage and the rear Loading Docks. Priority 3 area is 37,174 square feet. See Attachment 1 for exact location and areas.
