Description | The scope of work includes installing a new 8” PVC sanitary sewerline parallel to and at the same depth of an existing 8” concrete sewerline from 200 North to just past the Main Street bridge to serve as an overflow and relief sewerline that will provide additional pipe capacity to accommodate future sewer system flows as the south end of the community reaches total buildout. As the existing 8” concrete sewerline becomes surcharged with high flows, the high flows will overflow into two new manholes at the 200 North intersection and passing through the new 8” sewer overflow pipe and then returned into the existing sewer pipe system just north of the Main Street bridge through two other new manholes. The major quantities of work include: 433 feet of 8” SDR PVC pipe with sewer drain rock; 2 each 5-foot diameter doghouse style manholes, 2 each 4-foot diameter angle manholes, 3 each disconnect and reconnect sewer laterals, and asphalt and concrete pavement repair. |
