Andes Central School - Stream Corridor Restoration Project

As of July 12, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Work items include, but are not limited to: mobilization/demobilization, traffic control, pollution control, de-watering operations, tennis court demolition, access road construction, retaining wall removal, precast concrete block retaining wall construction, bridge demolition, pre-cast concrete bridge deck installation with pre-cast concrete block wall abutments, stream channel excavation and grading, rip-rap installation, step-pool construction, rock grade control structure installation, sanitary sewer re-alignment, storm sewer removal and re-alignment, electrical utility hook-up, fence installation, sod mat placement, and tree plantings. The new bridge and abutments shall be installed and substantially completed by September 1, 2023. The pre-cast concrete bid for the bridge and abutments was previously awarded to a supplier and is in production. The remainder of the work within the stream and floodplain, or which could affect water quality, shall be completed in accordance with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation's permit Technical questions should be directed to Ben Dates and administrative questions directed to Graydon Dutcher.
