Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids. The Project must meet Federal requirements concerning Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action Requirements (EEO/AAR) and State of Utah Department of Environmental Quality, Air Quality Regulations (including R307-205 Emission Standards: Fugitive Emissions and Fugitive Dust, and R307-309 Fugitive Emissions and Fugitive Dust, of the Utah Air Conservation Rules). All listed iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials. The deminimis and minor components waiver apply to this contract.
