A timeline for award has not yet been established.** 20th to 23rd Avenue Drainage Improvements Project Either an original Certified Check, Official Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the "City of Altoona" equal to ten (10%) percent of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal. Note that the Bid Bond must be in effect for a period of sixty (60) days from the bid opening date. Work performed on this project will be subject to prevailing wage rates as established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Mayor and City Council reserve the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality not material to the bid and to award the contract as may be deemed to the best interest of the City of Altoona. complete the entire contract within ONE HUNDRED TWENTY (120) consecutive calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed
