**Project cost range is anticipated to be $200,000 to $250,000. The Board of Education, Urbana School District #116, Champaign County, Illinois will receive sealed lump sum bids for the Remodel 303 E. Fairlawn and 1106 S. Vine. Project location: 303 E. Fairlawn and 1106 S. Vine, Urbana, IL. Project consists of renovating several small spaces into classrooms and offices at both buildings, installing approximately 7,100 sf of VCT flooring, carpet area of approximately 1,900 sf, another 770 sf of vinyl flooring, replacing some doors and painting all spaces at both buildings as well as a ramp access at the Vine Street building. MEP work involves fire alarm and related work at both buildings. Subcontractors and suppliers are encouraged to obtain plans through General Contractors although additional sets will be available at the cost of printing. When requesting documents, identify the contract or trade you are bidding. Contractors who do not submit a bid will forfeit their drawing deposit. Additional shipping charges will apply. The Urbana School District #116, Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding and to accept the bids deemed most favorable to their interest, after all bids have been examined and evaluated. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
