Continuing Construction Services - Pre-Chlorinated Pipe Bursting with Site Restoration

General Contractors and/or Utility Contractors to provide all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies and incidentals to perform pre-chlorinated pipe bursting and site restoration within the City on a continuing service contract basis. The work is planned to be completed over a five (5) year period (See below table), with multiple project areas assigned by multiple Work Order Assignments. The first project area has been identified as Spring Oaks East. The City’s desire is to complete the first Project Area before starting additional Planned Project Areas. The other Planned Project Areas have been identified with estimated quantities of work effort to aid Bidders in the preparation of the bid. These other Planned Project Areas, depending on size, may become standalone projects or smaller areas will be combined to generate a project area with a minimum of three thousand (3,000 LF) linear feet of pre-chlorinated water pipe bursting effort. A. The work for the Planned Project Areas includes, but shall not be limited to, prechlorinated water pipe bursting of four (4”) inch, six (6”) inch, eight (8”) inch, ten (10”) inch, and twelve (12”) inch asbestos concrete water main; replacing deficient valves; adding gate valves, adding fire hydrants; roadway base and patching work; miscellaneous concrete repairs including sidewalks, curb and gutter, irrigation system repairs and lawn restoration. All proposed restoration shall be limited to the affected construction limits, and field verified pre and post construction by the City and the awarded Contractor.

Division 33 -	Utilities, Instrumentation and Control for Utilities, Water Utilities, Water Utility Distribution Piping, Water Utility Distribution Equipment, Disinfecting of Water Utility Distribution, Water Utility Storage Tanks.
