Reclamation Activities in Southeastern New Mexico

NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The Carlsbad Soil and Water Conservation District is issuing a Request For Proposals(RFP) for reclamation activities primarily in southeastern New Mexico to assist in restoration of abandoned oil and gas well pads, caliche pits, and access roads. The Carlsbad Soil and Water Conservation District (CSWCD) works in conjunction with the local Bureau of Land Management (BLM) offices, NM State Land Office (NMSLO), and private landowners to restore native rangeland, riparian, and disturbed areas back to a healthy condition. The initial contract(s) shall begin on October 10th, 2023, or as soon as possible thereafter and end on October 9th, 2024. The CSWCD reserves the option of renewing the initial contract(s) on an annual basis for 3(three) additional years or any portion thereof for the purpose of reclamation activities. In no case will the contract(s), including all renewals thereof, exceed a total of 4(four) years in duration. Prior to a task order being assigned under contract, a quote may or may not be requested by CSWCD. Due to the cost fluctuation for fuel, the priced per acre on reclamation/seeding quoted by the Contractor will not deviate more than $200.00 per acre. If the cost per acre deviates beyond $200.00 per acre, current contracts will be null and a new RFP will be issued. Proposals received after this date and time WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
