| Description | MWRD utilizes over 100 hydraulic motors, pumps, gearboxes, valves and cylinders in a variety of equipment and vehicles within our operations. Examples of manufacturers are: ? Eaton ? Gates ? Hitachi ? Kawasaki ? Parker ? Bosch/Rexroth ? Sauer Danfoss/Sundstrand ? Vickers Upon a component failure, the District will send the unit to the contracted repair facility to inspect and troubleshoot to determine total repair/remanufacturing costs to OEM specifications. In addition to repair/recondition costs, repair facility may also provide replacement cost for like equipment, which MWRD will determine whether we repair/recondition or replace. If MWRD chooses to purchase a new component from another source, MWRD’s only obligation will be for troubleshooting and repair estimate costs. |
