A. Base Bid: Composite play structure for 5-12 year olds to include the following: i) 5” O.D. posts. ii) One ADA transfer station. iii) All bolts must be dipped in Loctite. iv) Must be equal to or comparable to attached drawing in size and scope. This needs to include same number of play activities and platforms in the same heights. v) Play structure to comply with ASTM 1487-11. vi) Play equipment represented as complying with ASTM 1487-11 consumer safety performance specification shall meet all applicable requirements specified in the standard. vii) Bidder shall provide essential records as necessary to document any claim that the requirements of 1487-11 have been met. viii) Third Party Certification documents (i.e.IPEMA) are suitable documentation of play equipment component compliance with applicable standards and should be submitted with bid. Swing sets: ix) (One) three-bay arch swing set (single-axis) with five (open) belt seats and one molded seat with harness. x) (One) double bay oodle swing. xi) Swing set to be designed for children ages 5-12 years. xii) Swings to be manufactured with 5” O.D. uprights and top rail. xiii) Swing set to comply with ASTM 1487-11. xiv) Play equipment represented as complying with ASTM 1487-11 consumer safety performance specification shall meet all applicable requirements specified in the standard. xv) Bidder shall provide essential records as necessary to document any claim that the requirements of 1487-11 have been met. xvi) Owner installed. Engineered Wood Fiber: xvii) Vendor will provide engineered wood fiber for surfacing material and shall be provided at an installed depth of 12” for the total number of square footage provided. xviii) Owner will install the wood fiber. xix) EWF must comply with ASTM 1292, 2075 and 1951 standards. xx) Bidder shall provide essential records as necessary to document any claim that the requirements of the standards ASTM 1292, 2075, and 1951 have been met. xxi) Third Party Certification documents (i.e.IPEMA) are suitable documentation of play equipment component compliance with applicable standards and should be submitted with bid B. Alternate Bid I: Composite play structure for 5-12 year olds as specified in base bid to include installation of equipment and Fall Zone material. C. Alternate Bid II: Composite play structure for 5-12 year olds as specified in base bid with an addition of an Omni Spinner along with approximately 2255 square feet of Pour in Place surfacing with site prep including class 5 compacted aggregate base as shown on drawing. Alternate Bid II to include installation of entire project. D. Alternate Bid III: Composite play structure for 5-12 year olds as specified in base bid with an addition of an Omni Spinner along with approximately 2255 square feet of Pour in Place surfacing with site prep including class 5 compacted aggregate base as shown on drawing. Alternate Bid III will be owner installed with the exception of Omni Spinner and Pour in Place surfacing
