Description

1. Steam Boiler Replacements: This project consists of the demolition of two steam sectional cast iron boilers, breeching, boiler feed unit, condensate pump unit and related piping; and installation of two replacement steam sectional cast iron boilers, breeching, boiler feed unit, condensate pump unit, related piping, insulation, and controls in the basement boiler room of the Schenectady County Jail; and all associated equipment as required for complete installation of all equipment. 2. Hot Water Boiler Replacements: This project consists of the demolition of four water tube hot water boilers, four boiler pumps, two main distribution pumps and related piping; and installation of four replacement water tube boilers, four boiler pumps, two main distribution pumps, modifications to the venting systems and related piping, insulation, and controls in the penthouse boiler room of the Schenectady County Jail; and all associated equipment as required for complete installation of all equipment.
