UPDATE: https://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/Assets/ScottsdaleAZ/Finance/Archive/FY+2022-23/FY+2022-23+Proposed+Operating+Budget+and+Capital+Improvement+Plan.pdf The existing Scottsdale Water Campus Administration building will be expanded and renovated to include a new state of the art regulatory laboratory for both water and sewer with improved ventilation systems, new optimization control room, dedicated server room, new fire control systems, parking additions and new office space to accommodate existing and future staff, associated meeting and storage space. The Water Treatment Operations building will also be expanded to include additional office and storage space to accommodate existing and future staff. This project is included in the city's 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of July 28, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. _________________________________________________________________ The owner has selected a Design Builder. The City of Scottsdale is requesting statements of qualifications (SOQ) from qualified Design-Build Managers (DBM) to provide design phase and complete construction services for multiple projects for the Scottsdale Water Department at the Water Campus site, located north of the 101 freeway off E. Hualapai Drive, Scottsdale, Arizona. The primary project is the Scottsdale Water Campus Administration Expansion and New Lab. Also included is the expansion/modification of two additional operations buildings: Maintenance and CAP Water Operations, also located at the Hualapai campus. The City is seeking licensed contractors and registered design professional teams with background developing, designing and constructing successful public facility renovations, particularly laboratory and office facilities. The DBM shall have expert understanding of water and wastewater plant laboratory and operating facilities including SCADA controls, programming of various space needs; laboratory design, office design and experience working on secure occupied sites and in secure occupied work areas. Provide at least three example projects of similar office renovations. The DBM must include a specialized laboratory design and safety consultant with the team. The DBM must provide the qualifications of the laboratory design consultant including the qualifications of the specific laboratory design staff. The DBM must provide at least three recent similar example projects for similar laboratory projects completed by the team or the laboratory design consultant. The DBM must include a specialized SCADA controls and IT design consultant with the team. The DBM must provide the qualifications of the SCADA controls and IT design consultant including the qualifications of the specific SCADA controls and IT consultant staff. The DBM must list recent similar example projects included in the resume for the SCADA controls and IT design consultant.
