Description

The Cache Road Waterline Replacement Project is located within City of Lawton, OK and consists of approximately 13,000 linear feet of 12-inch waterline, replacing the existing 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inchwaterline from west of NW Oak Avenue to NW 6th Street, also along Cache Road. The proposed 12-inch waterline will be routed generally along the back of curb on the south side of NW Cache Road. Tie in connections to the existing 30-inch waterline in the median of NW Cache Rd are anticipated to be located between NW 40th Street and NW 16th Street. Construction of the 12-inch waterline is anticipated to require additional right of way (ROW) acquisition. In addition, a new sidewalk with ramps or restoration of existing sidewalk along the alignment of the 12-inch is needed to improve pedestrian accessibility and comply with ADA requirements. A cashier's check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. Deposits will be returned to successful bidder upon execution of contract documents. Performance, Maintenance and Statutory Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price with a Corporate Surety licensed in Oklahoma and approved by the Owner and Engineer, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. A Maintenance Bond guaranteeing the repair of all damage due to improper materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year, after the acceptance of the work by the Owner, will be required The City Council of the City of Lawton Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
