Description | The Cache Road Waterline Replacement Project is located within City of Lawton, OK and consists of approximately 13,000 linear feet of 12-inch waterline, replacing the existing 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inchwaterline from west of NW Oak Avenue to NW 6th Street, also along Cache Road. The proposed 12-inch waterline will be routed generally along the back of curb on the south side of NW Cache Road. Tie in connections to the existing 30-inch waterline in the median of NW Cache Rd are anticipated to be located between NW 40th Street and NW 16th Street. Construction of the 12-inch waterline is anticipated to require additional right of way (ROW) acquisition. In addition, a new sidewalk with ramps or restoration of existing sidewalk along the alignment of the 12-inch is needed to improve pedestrian accessibility and comply with ADA requirements. Performance, Maintenance and Statutory Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price with a Corporate Surety licensed in Oklahoma and approved by the Owner and Engineer, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract.
