Description | As of September 1, 2022, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for an extension and a partial remodel of the existing fire warehouse building located at 303 East Aztec Drive. Lewistown, Montana. The building includes two restrooms, seven showers, a fitness room, a briefing room, and related site work. The work covered by this contract includes furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete this requirement as per the accompanying specifications and drawings. The estimated project magnitude of construction is $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. This Sources Sought (SS) is intended as a means of conducting market research, which will help determine the best method for the anticipated solicitation and subsequent award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this requirement is 236220, "Commercial and Institutional Building Construction". The small business size standard is $39.5 million. FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, will apply wherein at least 15 percent of the work must be performed by the small business prime contractor and similarly situated small business subcontractors. This announcement is issued solely for information and planning purposes, which will help determine the best method for the anticipated solicitation and subsequent award. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or solicitation nor a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This request does not commit the Government to contract for any supplies or services whatsoever. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this announcement; all costs associated with responding will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this announcement does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on BetaSam.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
