Description

Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid to be submitted as part of the bid submission in the form of cash, certified check or bid bond. Performance and Payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount will be required. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Bertie County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive bid discrepancies pursuant to law. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after receipt of bids.
