2021 Sewer Lining

The project is generally described as follows: Rehabilitation of approximately 37,000 lineal feet of existing sanitary and storm sewers by sewer lining using a "trenchless' technique of cured-in-place sewer liner. Sewers range in size from 8-inch diameter to 36-inch diameter. Video Required for Bidding. All bidders must obtain videos of sewers subject to project. Videos, in USB Drive format, of the sewers to be lined are available from the City of Champaign, Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, IL, 61820, at a cost of $20.00 per set. They may be obtained by contacting the Public Works Department, telephone no. 217/403-4700, or by sending a request to nathan.dornfeld@champaignil.gov. The City considers the information on the videos an integral part of the information needed to submit a bid for the project. Any contractor interested in bidding on this project must identify themselves and request a copy of these videos. The City shall document the identity of any bidder who has made a timely request and payment for a copy of the videos. All requests for videos must be submitted on or before 4:00 pm Tuesday April 23, 2019. Only bidders who have made a request for and paid the cost of said videos by said time and date will be considered to be responsive to this request for bid.
