Description

The roof at Rusteberg building has two areas that need to be replaced; the repairs need to be windstorm certified.The Contractors must demonstrate the ability to supply and provide all materials, equipment, labor and all other incidental material, tools, appliances, delivery and transportation as required to complete the project for all work in accordance with the scope of work, specifications, and drawings provided in this RFP. Awarded Contractor would need to obtain all required permits to do the work. 1. Perimeter fencing will be required to secure the job site before any work begins. 2. Remove all the old modified roof in section A which has 7,450 square feet and in section B which has 12,500, square feet. The new modify system has to be hot mopped and installed on parapet walls. 3. Replace all old insulation boards to make sure roof has adequate slopes to drain water. Remove three vents that are marked in red. On section B2 install a new drain to drain out the water to the walkway side. It will be marked in the middle. See picture below for reference. 4. Replace all sheet metal as needed with 22 gauge sheet metal. Replace all metal caps around building with new ones. All caps and metal gauge must match the same style currently installed. 5. Install new 1 ½ insulation board and fasten according to codes. 6. Seal all around vents, ac units, drain lines, and down spouts. Provide, install, and paint new down spouts to match existing ones (refer to picture). 7. All work must be windstorm certified, certification must be provided upon completion of project. 8. Awarded Contractor will need to clean job site on a daily basis and remove all debris and scrap material as well as to provide dumpster. 9. Landscaping around job site must remain clean. 10. The picture below shows all section A, section B, and B2 roofs.
