Annual Street Rehabilitation and Preventive Maintenance Project Fiscal Year 2021 - 2022

This project entails street rehabilitation and preventive maintenance on various streets throughout the City of Emeryville. The specific streets included in this project are: 41st Street (San Pablo Avenue - Adeline Street), 43rd Street (San Pablo Avenue - Adeline Street), 45th Street (San Pablo Avenue - Adeline Street), 47th Street (San Pablo Avenue - Adeline Street), 48th Street (San Pablo Avenue - City Limits), Salem Street (43rd Street - 45th Street), Essex Street (43rd Street - 45th Street), Doyle Street (45th Street - Steve Dain Drive), Steve Dain Drive (Doyle Street - San Pablo Avenue). This project generally includes, but is not limited to, the reconstruction and preservation of asphalt pavement; replacement of traffic striping and markings; installation of signs; reconstruction of PCC sidewalks, driveways, medians, curb, gutters, and curb ramps; and reconstruction of existing bulbout planters. In regards to asphalt pavement removal and replacement, the project requires various methods including the contractor to provide a full dig out, replace the existing asphalt, and construction of new pavement section
