Description | City of Auburn Crest Pointe Court Roadway Improvements No further information will be read, discussed, or provided until the evaluation of all submittals is completed. No extension of the bidding period will be made other than by a formal written addendum. The City of Auburn is soliciting proposals from qualified construction firms for the full depth reclamation and asphalt overlay of Crest Pointe Court. The project consists of, but is not limited to the following major elements: Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) of approximately 1,022 L.F. of existing roadway plus the cul-de-sac with a 40-foot pavement radius, and asphalt overlay of the rehabilitated area with 2-inches of 12.5 mm Superpave. 24" Stop Bar striping. Permanent grassing of shoulders. Time of completion for all work associated with this project shall be thirty (30) consecutive calendar days from the date of a written "Notice to Proceed" from OWNER. A Bid Bond will be required with proposal submission. The successful bidder shall be required to provide a Payment Bond and a performance bond, each in an amount not less than 100% of the total bid amount, at the signing of the contract. Successful bidder will be required to provide insurance in the amount of at least ($1,000,000.00) one million dollars as required by paragraph 17 of the "terms and conditions" of these documents. Your submittal must have a signature in its "original form". Firms should submit six (6) copies of proposals one which should be marked as 'Original' and five should be marked as 'Copy'. Proposals that do not clearly outline responses to each criterion may be eliminated from further consideration. Failure to sign your proposal in the 'Original' transmittal letter will force your proposal to be declared as 'nonresponsive' and not be considered for award. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after time has been called on the date of opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities. 2 RFP #23-001 City of Auburn Crest Pointe Court Roadway Improvements The City reserves the option to reject any or all bids, in whole or part, or to select any bidder to complete the described Work. Award of Contract may not be solely based on low bid, but also on quality, references, and other subjective criteria as the City may deem necessary and as the City may determine at its sole discretion. The Undersigned Bidder expressly understands that his proposal may be rejected by the City for any reason without liability on part of the City to the Undersigned Bidder.
