Taunton Water Department Water Meter

The city has an available budget of $49,000.00 for this procurement. We are requesting pricing to determine the maximum number of meters that we can obtain for the available budget. These meters will be used to restock our inventory. As such, delivery needs to occur within a three month time period. Deliveries will be made to the DPW facility located at 90 Ingell Street, Taunton, MA 02780. Meters shall be positive displacement type and from one of the following manufactures: Badger, Model 25 and 35 series Neptune, T-10 meter series Or equal Item 1, Supply 3/4 inch positive displacement meters Item 2, Supply 5/8 inch positive displacement meters, enter the unit cost per meter and the total number of meters with the total cost (total cost must be at or below the remaining funds calculated above. Award: the city will award this procurement upon receipt of three quotes or seven business days from the initial posting on the city bid portal, whichever occurs first. The City reserves its right to reject any and all quotes and to award to the vendor that provides the best value to be supplied and consideration of the delivery schedule. The award will be made according to Chp.30B. Best value will be determined by dividing the total cost of the quote by the total number of meters to be provided; resulting in an average cost per meter procured.
