Installation of an Enclosed Ditch Along Lincoln Road

The work shall consist of removing and replacing the curb radius in the southeast quadrant of the Jerome and Lincoln intersection, sawcutting and removing damaged hma, and adding a drainage structure in the curb radius. Installing storm sewer with three additional structures being added continuing easterly to outlet at Horse Creek. Riprap will be placed at the outlet to Horse Creek. The ditch shall be re-established to ensure drainage to the structures as shown on the plan sheet. Any pole bracing will be considered incidental and included in the other items. Slope restoration will be placed in all the disturbed areas as per the attached Special Provision. Place silt fence at Horse Creek to catch any sediment runoff during construction. At the end of each work day structures and exposed storm shall be plated until rip rap is placed to avoid any sediment entering Horse Creek. The work is to be completed for MDOT on Lincoln Rd. beginning in Arcada Township, Gratiot County at Jerome Rd and continues easterly to State Road, Gratiot County. Traffic will be maintained utilizing single lane closures with traffic regulators and shoulder closures.
