Description | The Project consists of constructing approximately: 1,492 l.f. of 4", 6" and 8" ductile iron waterline; 896 l.f. of 4" PVC waterline; 4 valves; 1 hydrant; an 8" hot tap, 2" water service and a connection; along with all restoration and appurtenances necessary to provide a complete and functioning project. The Engineers' Estimate for the Project is between $250,000 and $350,000. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $100.00 per set, payable to "Tenneson Engineering Corporation". Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be reproduced within 24 hours and sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Contractors may contact the Engineer to arrange for unaccompanied site inspections on the private property. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the Owner it is in the public interest to do so. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any informality in connection with said bid or to postpone the award of the Contract(s) for sixty days. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the Bidder is a resident bidder as defined by ORS 279A.120. Award of the Project will be contingent upon funding. The Notice of Intent to Award shall be issued via facsimile or electronic data exchange to all bidders - the Owner may choose to waive the 7-day Bid Protest period. All Bidders must submit, in a separate sealed envelope, disclosure of first-tier subcontractors by 1:30 p.m., local time, June 20, 2023, as required by ORS 279C.370. Attention is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract(s). This public works project is subject to the Oregon Prevailing Wage Rate laws. No bid will be received or considered by the Owner unless the bid contains a statement by the Bidder as part of their bid that provisions of ORS 279C.800 through .870 (Oregon Prevailing Wage Law) will be complied with and the Bidder is registered with the Construction Contractors Board as required by ORS 701. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. |
