Description | The principal items or elements of construction include: Pump Station 19 Upgrades PS 19 is a triplex, submersible type pump station located near the intersection of Nels Nelson Road NW and NW Bucklin Hill Road in Silverdale, Washington. The upgrades will include modifications to the existing wet well and construction of a new CMU control building. Upgrades will also include underground piping, miscellaneous site work and grading. Pump Station 31 Upgrades PS 31 is a duplex, submersible type pump station located in a cul-de-sac off Clover Blossom Lane NE in Bremerton, Washington. The upgrades will include new wet well, valve vault and concrete retaining wall. Upgrades will also include installation of new force main along Clover Blossom Lane NE., HMA patching, miscellaneous site work and grading. Scope of Work: Special Inspection and Testing Services tasks and responsibilities will include: • Special Inspections and Materials Testing and requisite laboratory work to ensure that the materials and workmanship on the project comply with the specifications, drawings and all applicable codes. Inspections and testing will include the following elements: * Soil materials testing and in-place compaction * Asphalt paving inspection * Reinforcing bar, concrete placement and taking of concrete test specimens * Expansion anchor installation * Anchors installed using epoxy adhesive * Masonry construction • Prepare a preliminary written field report of activities performed at each site visit and submit a legible copy of such report to Kitsap County and the General Contractor before leaving the project site. • Maintain a current up-to-date “Non-Compliance Log” and submit to the County’s Construction Manager each time the status of the log changes. • Certify all field reports and testing reports prepared and submit to the County’s Construction Manager. • Submit copies of all reports and certifications to the Kitsap County Department of Community Development’s authorized representative in accordance with the Building Permit(s). |
