Description

**As of May 30,2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Project Information: This project shall consist of work done at the C.F. Lott Home (Sank Park) located at 1067 Montgomery St, Oroville, CA 95965 S. The work is to be completed in a manner that is efficient and timely to minimize downtime of this community facility. During the life of the project the City is requesting the site be secured with temp fencing for public safety. All design choices will be subject to review and approval by the Park Commission, Historic Advisory Commission, and The City Council. The project will consist of: • Demolition and haul off of existing concrete curbs, retaining walls, as needed to gain access to work space. • Removal and replacement of existing landscape and irrigation as needed to accomplish work • All work(s) associated with new construction of new curb. Refer to plan set • All work(s) associated with installation of iron fencing per plan set. Including pedestrian and vehicle access points. Refer to plan set. . Budget. The City of Oroviile has established a budget of FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($400,000) for completing the Project. Start date of the Project ON OR BEFORE JUNE 19TH, 2023 and substantial completion date is SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2023. The successful Bidder may request substitution of eligible and equivalent securities for any monies withheld by the Client to ensure the Contractor’s performance under the Contract pursuant to California Public Contract Code §22300. The foregoing notwithstanding, the Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded shall make its written request to the Client for substitute security not later than the date of the submission of the first Application for Progress Payment; failure to request substitute security on or prior to such date shall be deemed a waiver of rights under Public Contract Code §22300. Award Date for Project TUESDAY – MAY 16TH, 2023
