Description

Construct green stormwater infrastructure practices at Pearl Street and Café Provence. Café Provence Stormwater Improvement Plan: A bioretention area will collect runoff from the paved parking lot behind 25 Center Street along the Neshobe River in Brandon, VT. Portions of the existing pavement will be cut and removed, grading performed to create a basin, which will then be seeded with native flowers, shrubs and grass. A portion of the cut pavement will be repaved to drain to the inlet where a 4’x4’x2” flat stone will be placed to prevent erosion, and 1-3’ diameter glacial boulders will be placed along the edge of cut pavement. Pearl Street Stormwater Improvement Plan: Four bioretention areas will collect runoff from Pearl Street in Brandon, VT. Excavation and grading will create the basins adjacent to existing catch basins, and new yard drains and drywells will be installed at the bottom of each basin to allow infiltration.
