Water and Sewer Emergency Repairs Services

The City of Lauderhill is seeking a maximum of three qualified contractors to demonstrate specific experience in utility system emergency repairs and services. The contractor shall furnish, install, and provide all labor and materials to complete repairs to the City's utility systems. The scope of work will be performed on an "as needed basis" based on the established proposal pricing. Individual purchase orders will be issued by the City as required. Questions Deadline: 2/14/2023 06:00 PM (ET) The Contract is non-exclusive agreement for a three (3) years term with two (2) one year extensions based on funding availability and the sole discretion of the City. The City of Lauderhill has determined that this RFP shall be reserved for SBE participation and shall comply with City Code of Ordinance Chapter 2, Article III. Section 2-139.(f)(3) - Local Vendors. An original and one (1) electronic copy in PDF format, of the proposal must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office City of Lauderhill Room 421 5581 W Oakland Park Blvd, Lauderhill, FL 33313 no later than 9:45 A.M. on , February 28, 2023 in sealed envelopes bearing the words " WATER AND SEWER EMERGENCY REPAIR SERVICES", RFP NUMBER 2023-022. E-mailed and faxed Bids will not be accepted. Proposal security in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check made payable to the "City of Lauderhill", in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal, will be required. Proposer must use Bond form provided. No Proposer may withdraw his proposal within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Guaranty Bonds in the form of a 100% Construction Performance Bond and a 100% Construction Payment Bond will be required upon award of contract. The City Commission of the City of Lauderhill reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities or irregularities and to accept or reject all or any part of any proposal as they may deem to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Lauderhill. The quantities given in the Bid Price Sheet Document 310 are for bid purposes only and may be increased or decreased based on the needs of the City.
