Renovation of a Biology Lab Transylvania Campus - Straus Building

Provide a turnkey project inclusive of all labor, materials, permits and inspections to rough in and trim out the plumbing of the new lab workstations. This project includes the following trades plumbing, mechanical, and electrical. 1. Owner will supply 2- new lab stations and stools. 2. GC needs to install a dedicated breaker with GFCI outlets installed on each existing and new stations. 3. GC is responsible for all walls to be painted. 4. New flooring installed will be (LVT). Owner will provide type and color for the new flooring and GC will provide the materials and labor as needed. 5. Owner can provide test results of the asbestos in the room GC will work with an asbestos abatement services for the removal of Asbestos flooring materials in the classroom. 6. GC is responsible for remove existing HVAC equipment, provide and install two (2) 24000 BTU (2 ton) wall hung air handlers and provide and install a new 4 ton multizone heat pump. 7. Concrete removal, pour back, floor patch, repair to the floor where concrete was cut out and the metal plates are between existing lab stations. 8. Access to the shut offs under the metal plate must be provided after installation of new flooring. This is where gas and water shut offs are located.
