Description

IE 2001 The project will dismantle the existing, non-functioning IXTP 7991 arsenic removal system, and replace it with a single pass adsorption media treatment system. The new treatment system is comprised of the following: a pre-filtration system, steel pressure adsorber vessels, chemical feed and injections systems, process piping, above ground tanks, and a backwash recycle system. In addition, the onsite well will be equipped with a new pumping plant, emergency electrical generator, new electrical building, and other site improvements. The new arsenic removal facility will be capable of treating approximately 1,500 gallons per minute (gpm). The existing well will require redevelopment and has experience artesian conditions in the past.
