2021 Storm Sewer Upgrades

The base bid consists of the rehabilitation of storm sewers in the following areas in Howland Township: the east side of Rolling Meadows Drive near SR 46 and Stone creek Lane, the intersection of Old Farm Trail and Shady Lane, and a section between Allyson Drive and North Road. The following is a more detailed breakdown of the rehabilitation work: Rolling Meadows Drive - Excavate existing blind connection. Cut conduit and place new precast concrete vault. Reconnect existing 48-inch diameter storm and restore lawn. If required, remove, and replace mailbox to original location. Old Farm Trail & Shady Lane - Rehabilitate existing irregular headwall and bar screen to include overflow weir to contain flow and prevent storm water runoff from cresting headwall and running west down Old Farm Trail. Included are all road repairs, stream bank erosion controls and repairs, and lawn/drive area repairs within the right-of-way. Allyson to North Road Storm Sewer Base Bid: Repair existing 54-inch diameter storm pipe joints from middle catch basin to existing manhole. Reveal 3 feet minimum on each side of joint. Correct joint deflection and fill/cover open annular gaps from crown to haunch of conduit. Reconnect existing 54-inch diameter storm and encase pipe in concrete. Backfill trench and restore lawn.
